# How to cancel a subscription?

****You need to cancel your Crisp subscription? We are sorry to hear that. Here is the procedure.****

# Cancel my plan

This can be done simply by downgrading to the "Free" plan, which will cancel your current subscription effective immediately and prevent future charges.

* Login to [https://app.crisp.chat](https://app.crisp.chat)
* Navigate to **Settings → Billing → Plans & Subscriptions **
* Hit the "Change Plan" button and downgrade to the "Free" plan.

If your subscription is inactive and you want to reactivate it instead, go to ****Settings → Billing → Plans & Subscriptions****, choose your plan, and validate the subscription with a valid payment method.

# Confirming No Further Charges After Downgrading to the Free Plan

After you downgrade your workspace to the Free Plan, you can confirm that no further charges will occur by checking your current plan status:

1. Go to ****Settings **→**** Billing ****→**** Plans & Subscriptions**.
2. Ensure that your workspace shows ****Free Plan**** as the active plan.
3. If you wish, you may also remove your payment method for additional assurance.

Once your workspace is on the Free Plan, no further deductions or charges will be made. If you were billed before the downgrade took effect, contact support to request a refund review.

# Temporarily suspend a subscription

If you do not want to fully cancel your workspace, a temporary suspension may be possible for one upcoming month.

To request it, contact support and confirm the exact workspace to suspend. If approved, the workspace can be put on a temporary trial until the pause end date so access remains available during that period.

A temporary suspension is generally limited to one month. If the current billing cycle has already renewed, the pause may apply to the next billing cycle instead rather than generating an immediate refund.
