# Image Requirements

# What are the image requirements for Etsy listings?

Like any other e-commerce marketplace, Etsy also allows you to have images in your products. So, if the users have images of their products on Shopify and then upload them to Etsy using **Etsy Integration & Sync,** we use **Etsy API** to help them upload their Shopify products to Etsy easily.

Here are some basic requirements for product images on the Etsy listing according to Etsy:

1. Users can have 10 images per listing (one being the primary image). So, even if you have more than 10 images, only the first 10 will be uploaded.

2. The recommended size for listing images is **2000px** for the shortest side and a resolution of **72PPI**.

3. All images in your shop should be one of these file types: .jpg, .gif, or .png. These are the only image file types Etsy supports.

4. Animated .gif files and transparent .png files are not supported. If a file contains transparency, the transparent parts of the image will appear black on Etsy.
