# Open a new subsidiary

# Open a New Subsidiary

Opening an account for a different subsidiary will create a new branch supporting a different currency (e.g., EUR €, GBP £, USD $).

## Open another account for a subsidiary

**Note:** You need "organisation owner" permissions to perform this action.

**There are two options :**

### Option 1:

1. Click on the top-left corner of the screen, where your entity’s name is displayed.
2. Select **Add a new account**.

### Option 2:

1. Navigate to **Settings > Spendesk plan > Company plan and invoices**.
2. Click on **Add an account**.
3. Fill out the form with the relevant information linked to your new entity and validate.

**Q: Do I need any special permissions to open a new subsidiary?**

A: Yes, you must have "organisation owner" rights to perform this action.

**Q: Can I set up different currencies for each subsidiary?**

A: Yes, each subsidiary can have its own currency (EUR, GBP, USD, etc.).

**Q: How do I invite new members to my subsidiary?**

A: Once the subsidiary is created, you can invite new members by following the standard invite process on Spendesk.
