# Restrict card access for specific members

**Account Owners** and **Admins** can restrict physical and virtual cards for specific members when necessary!

You can now simultaneously limit both the creation of new virtual cards and the use of physical cards.

# Restrict Card Access

To limit access to **physical and virtual cards** for a specific member, follow these steps:

1. Go to **Settings > Organisation > Members**.
2. Select the relevant member.
3. Click on **Restrict card access**.

By doing this, the member will no longer be able to:

* Make purchases using their physical card.
* Create new virtual card requests.

_Note_: Existing virtual card requests and approved virtual cards will not be affected. These cards will remain valid for payments.

# Re-authorize Card Access

To allow these members to request virtual cards and use their physical cards again:

1. Navigate to **Settings > Organisation > Members.**
2. Select the relevant member.
3. Click on **Allow card access**.

# Remove Access to Approved Virtual Cards

If you want to prevent a member from using virtual cards that have already been approved, you can delete these cards by going to the **Requests** tab.

# FAQ

**Q1: Will restricting card access affect existing virtual cards?**  
No, restricting card access only prevents members from creating new virtual card requests or using physical cards. Approved virtual cards remain functional unless manually deleted.

**Q2: How can I delete already approved virtual cards?**  
Go to the **Requests** tab and delete the virtual cards you no longer want the member to use.

**Q3: Who can manage card access restrictions?**  
Only **Account Owners** and **Admins** have the rights to restrict or re-authorize card access for members.
