# Where to find my Website ID

__Every workspace in Crisp has its own Website ID, which is used as a unique technical identifier.__

You may be asked for the Website ID during support, billing, setup, or code-related tasks. It identifies the workspace precisely, which is why it is often safer to rely on it than on the visible workspace name.

# Find the Website ID

To copy it from the Crisp app:

1. Open ****Settings****.
2. Go to ****Settings → Workspace Settings → Setup & Integrations****.
3. Find the ****Website ID**** field.
4. Click ****Copy****.

That is the identifier used in the JavaScript snippet for the chat widget and in several support or billing workflows.
