Colorization Methods & Setup

Supported Image Formats

If you want to apply a color to an image, you can only do that with SVG or PNG images!

Color Picker

Entering only one hexadecimal color value, eg.: #000000, enables the color picker for the element, which allows the customer to pick any color they like:

Color Palette

Enter multiple hexadecimal color values to enable a range of colors the customers can choose from:

On the front end it will look like this:

You can link the color of elements across all views. Just enter an unique color link ID in the color link group. As soon as the color of one element in the group is changed, all elements in the same color link group will adopt the same color. Color links can only be used with text elements, PNG images and SVG images with a single path!

Where to set these colors options

In the backend you have different options to define the color options in the frontend.

Text & Images added by the customer

The first level to define color options is in the main settings under Settings > Element Properties > Coloring. Here you can define the color options your customers can choose from when they add own text or colorizable image formats (SVG, PNG).

Initial Elements of your customizable products

When you build your customizable products you will find the same color options in the Product Builder when an element is selected.

Single Designs & Design Category

You also have the possibility to define different color options for your designs in the Designs backend. Therefore click on Category Options (a) or Single Designs Options (b). Then a modal pops up and in the Colors tab you will find the same color options.
