# How does the Trello Integration work?

Trello is a project management software that is used all over the world by many companies. Using Crisp, you can now use Trello from your inbox, without leaving our tool, which is a huge improvement in terms of productivity. Here is how you should activate the Trello integration.

# How do I link Trello and Crisp?

You can link your existing Crisp website to Trello, by ****enabling the Essentials plan on the target website**** , and then configuring the Trello integration:

* Go to: [https://app.crisp.chat](https://app.crisp.chat)
* Log in or create a Crisp account
* Go to the Plugins section (in the sidebar)
* Search for "Trello" and install the Trello plugin (it will prompt you to upgrade your plan if necessary)
* Go to the Trello plugin settings (click on the Trello plugin settings icon)
* Follow the instructions to connect Crisp to Trello
* After you finished configuring your plugin you should be able to configure your plugin

|| Once installation is successful you can see the Trello widget in the __actions__ pane on the right side of conversations.

# What does this integration includes?

Using the widget you are able to:

* Create detailed cards [in Trello](https://monday.com/blog/reviews/trello-vs-notion-which-is-right-for-your-team/). You can specify a title, a description, a board and a list for the new card.

* Assign a card to a conversation
* Search for cards in Trello

In Trello you can see which customers are impacted by a card

# FAQ

## I can't create card in Trello because I don't see any board

Browse to your Trello plugin settings and double check that you didn't deactivate every Trello boards.
