How to always allow some apps to run on mobile devices?

You may want some apps to be allowed to run when:

The mode is not allowed to be used at that time of the day, e.g., after bedtime.
The user has run out of base time allowance and has no token time left.
ScreenCoach is not running.

To make these kinds of changes, you need to be logged in as a parent on the child device first.

Click on "⇔Change" to change user.
Choose a parent user.
Click on "Settings" in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen from the dashboard.
Choose "App Categories" from the following screen.
Select Always Allowed for the device type.

Add the apps to this category. Note: You may need to figure out which category your app is in.
For example, Apple Music is under entertainment, and podcasts are under Health & Fitness.

That's it; these apps will always be allowed to be used at any time, even if not allowed.
