How to edit my profile and add a profile picture?

Completing your Crisp profile helps your teammates and customers to learn more about you.


*Here's how to add details about yourself, upload a photo, and set your language*


  1. Go to https://app.crisp.chat
  2. Open the *Settings* from the bottom-left corner
  3. Head over to *Settings → Account → Account Information*
  4. Edit your information directly

If you upload a new profile picture, your clients won't see your new picture until you send a message


Troubleshooting


My preferences are not saved


Please ensure both your first name and last name are provided


Email is already taken


It will not been possible to use an email address already associated with another account. You may already register before using the same email.


What we suggest is to go to https://app.crisp.chat/initiate/recover/ to recover the password


My avatar is not updating on the chatbox


Crisp is not updating your avatar immediately on the chatbox. It requires sending a message to a visitor first to update the cache.


Also, Crisp is not updating messages already sent. This will appear on your next messages going forward.


Tip: try using incognito mode, to be considered as a new visitor on your own website
