# How to temporary hide the chat on my website

Crisp allows you to hide the Chat from your website by clicking on a button. It can be useful during vacations. This is why we named it the ****Vacation Mode****.

****Here is how to proceed:****

* Go to your [Crisp dashboard](https://app.crisp.chat)
* Head over to the ****Settings**** from the bottom-left icon
* Navigate to ****Settings → Chatbox Settings → Chatbox Restrictions****
* Enable the option ****Place support in vacation mode (hide chatbox)****

This will disable the chatbox from all places it was installed. This option will need to be disabled when you wish to reactivate it.
