The kids get the tokens and gems through the activities!
A child will receive the tokens and gems for an activity once they have finished it and had their parents approve it.
The tokens are saved and can be used at any time in the future. They will be automatically converted to screen time when the child is out of free time on a given day.

Tokens translate into screen time and Gems translate into pocket money.
You can decide how many minutes of screen time a Token is worth. To make it easy for the child, we recommend one minute per Token for Under 5’s, two minutes per Token for 5-8-year-olds, and 5 minutes per Token for 9+-year-olds.
It becomes a great way for your child to learn their times tables! The same with Gems - you can set it at 10c per Gem if you wish which is a great start for younger kids and you might like to increaWeinig lezersHow do you manage shared mobile devices when it locks?
Typically, when a user is logged into a device and walks away and comes back to it when the screen wakes up, it will assume the same user is using the same device.
This is a fair assumption if the device is only used by that user; however, if it is a shared device, you can set an option to have it log out after, say, 15 minutes (Logout delay) after screen lock. So then when the next user picks it up, there will be no logged-in user, and they will have to choose a user.
