Dokan Cloud charges commission to its owners based on the different versions of Dokan Cloud. You can see that from the screenshot below-

So how this commission is calculated. Lets get into the details-

1. This is a postpaid calculation. So, the commission will be calculated after 30 days from the day of purchase (for monthly plan and yearly plan) based on the revenue of that month. Suppose you have $100 revenue at the end of the month, the commission will be (for 0.5% of the revenue) *$0.50*.
2. *Revenue= Product price - Discount+ Shipping Fee.* The shipping fee will not be added to the revenue if you are using the connected gateways (ex: Shippo). But if you are using manual shipping settings, then the shipping fee will be added to revenue and it will effect how much commission is deducted.
3. The commission will be calculated only based on the revenue of the fully completed orders in that month. That means the order is fully paid and delivered. Supppose your month ends at 30th June, but you have a order which was placed at 27th June and completed at 1st July. That means that order will be counted in the revenue of July bill cycle, and added to the revenue. Based on that revenue, the commission will be calculated.
4. *So what if a customer asks for a refund in july of a order that was completed in the month of June?* For the same month refund, it will be adjusted accordingly. But for a case like we mentioned where a refund has happened at the month of July for a June order, then it will be adjusted in the July billing cycle. However, after adjustment, if the commission calculation comes in the negative, then it will be calculated as 0.
