# How to connect Telegram with Crisp

__Learn how to connect Telegram to Crisp so your team can receive and reply to Telegram messages from the Inbox.__

The ****Telegram**** integration connects a Telegram bot to Crisp. Once connected, messages sent to that bot appear in Crisp and can be handled by your team from the shared Inbox.

# Open the Telegram plugin in Crisp

1. Go to [**Crisp**](https://app.crisp.chat).
2. Open ****Plugins → Telegram****.
3. Keep the plugin page open while you create your Telegram bot token.

# Create your Telegram bot credentials

1. Open [**BotFather**](https://telegram.me/botfather) in Telegram.
2. Start the `` `/newbot` `` command.
3. Enter the name of your bot.
4. Enter the bot username.

|| Telegram requires bot usernames to end with `` `Bot` ``, such as `` `AcmeCorpBot` ``.

5. Copy the token generated by Telegram.

# Finish the connection in Crisp

1. Return to ****Plugins → Telegram**** in Crisp.
2. Paste the token generated by BotFather.
3. Click ****Connect to Telegram****.
