# How to install the Crisp live-chat chatbox on Notion

__This article explains how to embed Crisp Live Chat inside a Notion page.__

Notion can embed external URLs inside a page. To display Crisp there, first generate your direct chatbox link, then paste that link into a Notion embed block.

# Generate your Crisp chatbox link

Notion needs the direct external URL of your Crisp chatbox.

__To get the link:__

1. Find your Website ID with [this guide](/en/article/where-to-find-my-website-id-1ylqx1s/).
2. Build your chatbox URL with this format: [`` `https://go.crisp.chat/chat/embed/?website_id=MY_WEBSITE_ID` ``.](https://go.crisp.chat/chat/embed/?website_id=MY_WEBSITE_ID.)
3. Replace `` `MY_WEBSITE_ID` `` with your own Website ID.

# Embed the chatbox in Notion

Once your chatbox URL is ready, add it to a Notion embed block.

__To embed Crisp in Notion:__

1. Open the Notion page where you want the chatbox to appear.
2. Click where you want to add the embed.

3. Type `` `/embed` ``.
4. Choose ****Embed**** from the menu.
5. Paste your Crisp chatbox URL.

6. Resize the embed block if needed.
