# Before you implement the SDK

The Developer Hub is the source of truth for the current Android dependency version, platform requirements, multidex configuration, push notification setup, and API methods.

__Before installing the SDK:__

* ****Create or select your Crisp workspace**** → the SDK must be configured with your Website ID
* ****Check the current Android requirements**** → SDK versions and Gradle setup can evolve
* ****Review push notifications if needed**** → mobile notifications require extra Android and Crisp configuration

|| If you only need Crisp on a website or web app, use the standard web chatbox installation guide instead of the native mobile SDK.
