Change the import settings on DATEV UO
If you are not satisfied with the way receipts are exported from Spendesk to DATEV UO, you can make some changes to your import behavior in Einstellungen > Erweiterte Einstellungen.

After connecting DATEV UO with your Spendesk account, you can start the configuration of your chart of accounts, tax and expense accounts, bank account but also KOST 1 and KOST 2, as well as supplier and employee accounts. You can simply follow the below steps and you should be then ready to export expenses and payments to DATEV UO.
Step 1 - Configure your chart of accounts
You should configure your chart ofWenig LeserOverview of QuickBooks Online native integration
The native integration between Spendesk and QuickBooks Online allows you to have accurate data between your financial tools, and save time at month closing. Spendesk pulls your master data when you connect to QuickBooks Online and finalize your initial configuration. The integration also provides control of this data in Spendesk to map your QuickBooks Online chart of accounts' settings with your Spendesk accounting setup and analytical fields.
Important note: The integration is onlyWenig LeserConnect Spendesk to Xero
Spendesk supports a native integration with Xero, allowing you to seamlessly export your payables and synchronize your accounting data.
Prerequisites:
You must be an Administrator in Xero;
You must be an Account Owner or Controller in Spendesk;
You must activate the two-factor authentication on Spendesk that is required by Xero to allow connection.

You can switch integration on your Spendesk account, and proceed with the initial configuration onWenig LeserConnect Spendesk to QuickBooks Online
Spendesk supports a native integration with QuickBooks Online, allowing you to seamlessly export your payables and synchronize your accounting data.
To access this integration with QuickBooks Online, you need us to grant you access beforehand. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or Account Manager.
Prerequisites:
You must be an Administrator in QuickBooks Online;
You must be an Account Owner or Controller in Spendesk.
Connection steps
Once you have the featurWenig LeserExport expenses and payments to Xero
You are now ready to prepare your payables on Spendesk and export them to Xero.
Bookkeep your payables
You can bookkeep your expenses using all of your familiar Xero accounts and values. Once you are ready to export your expenses to Xero navigate to Bookkeep > Export and select the desired period to export.
When pushed to Xero, these expenses are created as Bills on Xero, with status 'Draft'. After reconciliation with the payment, the status is automatically changed to 'Paid'. ThiWenig LeserOverview of DATEV UO native integration

Spendesk exports recognized expenses - expenses that passed all configured approval flows and were prepared by finance. We do not create anyWenig LeserExport payments via CSV file using DATEV UO integration
Payments are not exported automatically via our native integration with DATEV UO. To export your payments you need to use our CSV bank journal to upload settlements in DATEV via the Batch Processing module and automatically offset open positions.
Important notes:
It is possible to include settlements that have already been exported by checking the corresponding checkbox on Spendesk.
Exporting payments with prepared payables
On Spendesk, go to Settings and set up your SWenig LeserExport wallet loads to Xero manually
This integration does not enable to push wallet loads from Spendesk to Xero. You have to add them manually on Xero.
Process to manually export wallet loads
In Xero, go to Accounting > Bank accounts and click on the bank account that you used to load Spendesk. Then click on the 'Reconcile' tab and link the wire transfer to your Spendesk bank account.

Before using Spendesk's native integration with DATEV it is required to configure DATEV UO correctly before using Spendesk's native integration with DATEV.

Step 1 - Set up DATEV cloud services

Receipts are exported from Spendesk to DATEV UO and they are enriched with accounting data.
