The SAML-based protocol for Single Sign On authentication allows companies to streamline employee access to third-party applications such as Spendesk.
The SAML-SSO feature is an option that is not activated by default in your account. In order to know more about the conditions, please reach out to your dedicated Account Manager or the support team.
Customers on SAML SSO can now connect their third-party authentication services (i.e. Okta, Onelogin or [MicrosWenig LeserSet up global company policies for individuals or groups of employees
A global company policy allows you to control how much a Requester can spend in one transaction or one month without requiring approval. Both Admins and Account Owners (AOs) can set up these policies. For more detail on other features that impact approval rules, see:

Exclusive Roles
There are two special roles, each of which can only be assigned to a single person:
Organisation Owner - has the unique permission allowing them to open new Spendesk entities
Account Owner - the super user for the entity, can effectively perform any action within Spendesk that Administrators or Controllers can do, along with some additional permissions:

To view and update your Spendesk billing information, follow the steps below:
Access the Billing Settings
To check your billing information, head to this tab.
Your Billing Information: This includes details such as your payment method and address.

This feature is only visible to Account Owners and Admins.
You can invite or update multiple members in Spendesk using predefined fields.
How to Bulk Import Members:
Navigate to Settings > Organisation > Members, then click on "Invite new members".
Select "By file upload".

As a Controller or Account owner, you will need to consider Spendesk as a bank account: whenever you make a wire transfer to your Spendesk account, it's similar to a transfer wired from one account - (i.e. your business account) to another (i.e. your Spendesk account).

As an Administrator or Account owner, your can remove members from the list when they leave the company or do not use their Spendesk account.
Remove a member on Spendesk
head over to Settings > Organisation > Members.
Click on the member you want to delete.
Click on the red link at the bottom in the new window that pops up: "remove the member from your company".
Follow the instructions in the new window and then check the box that reads I acknowledge and confirm.
BeforeWenig Leser(US only) Set up your bank account to fund your Spendesk wallet (ACH)

To properly link your US bank account to your Spendesk account, follow these steps :
Ask your US bank to whitelist Spendesk

Before closing your account
To ensure the closure process goes as quickly and smoothly as possible, please complete the following steps before initiating your request:
**Cancel subscription cards and upWenig LeserDownload your Spendesk subscription invoices
Your invoice
You can find all of your invoices on the Settings > My Spendesk plan > Company plan and Invoices tab.
If you have several entities on Spendesk, invoicing may be grouped under the main entity. No invoices are issued for secondary entities.
On the 1st day of each month, you will receive a Spendesk invoice detailing the amount debited from your wallet's funds. This invoice includes entity information and company IWenig LeserRestrict card access for specific members
Account Owners and Admins can restrict physical and virtual cards for specific members when necessary!
You can now simultaneously limit both the creation of new virtual cards and the use of physical cards.
Restrict Card Access
To limit access to physical and virtual cards for a specific member, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Organisation > Members.
Select the relevant member.
Click on Restrict card access.
By doing this, the member will no longer be ableWenig LeserInvite and manage members
Invite and manage members
As a spend management platform intended exclusively for professional customers, please note that Spendesk will not allow Users younger than 18 years old to create accounts.
To invite your coworkers to Spendesk:
Head over to Settings > Organisation> Members.
Then click on Invite new members.
From there, you should have 3 different ways to invite new members to Spendesk.
1) Via email:
You can invite several coworkers on Spendesk at once and add a cuWenig Leser(US only) Top up your Spendesk wallet automatically
Add funds to your wallet
As an Account Owner on Spendesk, you are able to fund your Spendesk wallet using ACH. This process takes about 4-7 days.

Wallet overviews
If you are the Account Owner or Controller of the account, you have access to 2 views:
The Controller Dashboard view, which includes:
Your current wallet balance
The scheduled transfers
The limits on cards
The detailed view in Settings > Your wallet > Wallet details tab**.**

Play by the Rules is available on all billing plans and offers enhanced control over receipts and compliance.
Managing Compliance
Admins and Account Owners can set maximum time limits to add all necessary info and restrictions on the number of late payments allowed.
This encourages requesters and account owners to provide information in a timely manner

The Spendesk HR integration enables you to link Spendesk to an HR tool (such as Personio, HiBob, Workday, BambooHR, PayFit, Lucca, Deel, and more) to manage users in Spendesk automatically. This includes:
Creating members in Spendesk as they appear in the HR tool.
Updating user details to synchronize things like email address, name, bank account details and reporting manager.
Archiving members that are no longer 'active' employees in the HR toolWenig LeserAssign different roles
As an Admin, go to Settings > Organisation > Members to invite members and assign roles.
Select a role upon invitation
By default, invited users will be assigned a Requester role, which can be combined with other roles once the invitation has been accepted.
Additionally, administrators can assign multiple roles to a user to customize their access for different organizational needs.
